2D Week 11: Group Project Concept Round 01 (Thumbnails) - Team Lion

This week we continued the VR OZ project by creating some Concept Sketches of the character and environment as well as continued to iterate on the engine level, following is the work everyone contributed this week:

Paul

This week I created the rig ready mesh with proper geometry so that Yunhao could create the rig for the piece, I created two character concepts for the character concept sheet (three and ten) as well as worked on the engine scene shifting assets and making the forest graveyard transition a bit less abrupt as well as built lighting for the scene.




Matthew and Lindsay


Matt and Lindsay worked on the environment concept art (Lindsay made six and Matt made four). Their approach to the assignment was to explore different directions the forest could go into as well as transitions into the witch's castle


Yunhao

Yunhao created eight of the ten character design pieces as well as rigged the Lion mesh so that Kendall could animate it





















Kendall

Kendall animated idle for our Lion character as well as continued to push her digital vine asset and managed to get it implemented inside her test bed, we expect it to be in the main game scene next week




























Noel

Noel worked on some character concepts as well exploring poses and attitude of the character.
