Lego Piece
Our vision for the scene was placed in a futuristic setting, as such the Lego piece I chose to model was the Lego crystal
Concept Work
The environment team met multiple times and created multiple iterations of what the environment could possibly look like, below are some of the sketches and concept work team members created through the process (artists - Leah Augustine & Will Perez-Valines):
The Lego Tree
The Final Scene
Shape turned out nice, but really needs the bevels on this one, along with the L0 and L1. Final UE4 layout shots turned out really well. I do wish the scope was pulled in quite a bit, still seems like the project ended up over scoped and that is why the time for the project climbed so high. I think the environment team took the brunt of the time on this one.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Tree was very cool, scale could be brought down, needs to fit within the dome.
